1. Connect a flash drive to the USB port of the CPU of your computer.
2. Select Start > Computer in Windows start program menu. The window of the computer will appear.
3. Right click on the drive and choose the ‘Properties’ option. The Properties dialogue will appear.
4. Now you need to choose the ReadyBoost tab to get the two radio buttons mentioned below.
• Use this device radio button
• Do not use this device
5. You have to choose the first option. Now you have to preserve the drive space that will be used as cache memory. You cannot use the space that is used as cache memory to store items in the attached drive.
